Vietnam ranks number 03 after Malaysia and Thailand in producing rubber. However, with the expansion of area and facilities, not only in Vietnam but in Laos and Cambodia also, this position will be quickly changed. Highly appreciate the returns from rubber industry, Vietnam is strongly investing in farming and producing fields with significant budget and modern technologies.
More producers are applying for ISO and that makes Vietnam rubber more popular and acceptable to the buyers. Geographical, cost advantages and economic of scale will bring Vietnam rubber industry better access to booming markets as India, Chinese and open world market as well. ACC undertakes an active part to realize those advantages.
All natural rubber comes as liquid latex from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree. Differing production methods also impart specific characteristics to the raw rubber. Therefore, natural rubber is classified into numerous grades, depending on production methods and technical properties
Vietnam natural rubber in block form (crumb) is classified into 6 grades: SVR 3L, SVR CV60, SVR CV50, SVR5, SVR 10, SVR 20.

This scheme requires standardized tests to be performed on each grade of rubber as well as a standardized packing of either 33 1/3 Kilo or 35 kilo bales wrapped in thin, dispersible polyethylene or thick, strippable polyethylene. SVR rubber is usually packed with 36 bales on a crated or shrink-wrapped standard size pallet. Crate size is 1200 or 1260 Kilos
Vietnam natural rubber in latex form is classified into 02 grades are LA and HA.
